It is a wrap! #deanlist

I look back in the past few days, and I did not grieve for it is gone, but I am deliriously happy because it happened. It was on Wednesday, I woke up at 9:30am and I rushed to get myself ready for class. As soon as I reached the classroom, my friends told me the class got canceled. It was very frustrating to me because I was excited to attend the class and practicing our informative speech.

Then, I went back to my room and slept for hours like there is no tomorrow. I set an alarm clock to wake me up at 1:30pm. Because it was a monumental day for me to remember. It was a dean's list award ceremony and I was one of the receiver of the dean's list award. I do not have the intention to simply show it off here but I wanted to make people around inspire by what I did in my studies. It was my first semester and my first year in the National University of Malaysia. It was such an honor to have this dean's list award.

Words cannot explain how excited I was on that day. I am taking economics in UKM. Our faculty has different academic system if compared to the other Universities and other faculties in UKM too. All of the students in Faculty of Economics and Management will do their majoring in the second year. Regarding to the statement, I am planning to take accounting as my major in the second year later. Thus, it means that I need to add another one more year to graduate from this faculty and university. Because it takes about 4 years to complete the accounting course.

I willingly add one more year for my education because I do enjoy the figures and calculation. It explains how much I adore numbers and dollars in my life. This does not mean that I am over attached to dollars nor money. But we need money in our daily life. Without money, what can we buy? What can we eat? What are you going to wear? It makes sense that we really need money in this crucial world. This is the reality. In reality, all people need money for them to live their life. And that is life.

My smile without my teeth
Back to my dean's list story. My hard work paid off. That is what I can say about the above pictures. Not to show it off literally, but to show to the world and especially to those people who once look down on me, that I am actually capable of doing it and getting it right. It is not because of my intelligence nor the genius brain, but it is actually because of my hard work and efforts that I put in it.

For your information, these people who got a dean's list award are really active in other activities too other than studies. Do not simply label these people have not joined any activities due to their excellent results. Maybe it is true that they only do studies (nerdy) but only some of them do that. Please, do change your mindset to a more positive one.

I did involve in other activities and I am not putting my time on studies like 24/7. I wrote this to inspire people, to make them study even much harder, and to get a better results in the future. I wanted to inspire my siblings, friends and other people too. All people actually can achieve this depending on their efforts and the 'never give up' in mind, which can boost your mind to do things in a great way.

Last but not least, always pray to God and ask for a blessing. I thank God for this achievement of mine, in my first year (1st semester) in UKM. And I thank God once again for everything that He gave me in this life. I never expect this achievement of mine and it is for my loving parents. In the future, I will do my very best in studies for another 5 semesters or if I manage to get accounting as my major, it is going to be another 7 more semesters. I have a big dream! I need to catch it out.
