It was on Sunday. My friends and I had registered for the Great Eastern Run. It was held at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur and we were so excited to attend it. We prepared our shoes, shirts and everything for the run.
As far as I can remember, we were pretty ready for the run! Unfortunately, things gone wrong, really wrong. It was terribly wrong. Before I proceed with the next story, we were prepared for the run as we had our own practises like every each day in a week before the run.
And you know what was happening? I WOKE UP REALLY LATE.
Overslept. And my friend, Adriana, she tried to wake me up by whispering through my window. She did not managed to wake me up. My ears gone wrong. Literally, everything gone wrong. I woke at 7:00am and called my friend, Adriana, and I met her. We talked for an hour. Talked about this (our run). And you know what, the awe part, Adriana was in a fully dress. She wowed me!
Above all, the worst part was, we burned out our money without even running. It sounds worst. Isn't? I was so happy to get the certificate but it is not my luck where I don't even running on that day. Maybe it is just me. I don't know how to wake up on time. Or because I slept very late which was at 2:00am.
My friend texted me that he was on top of the Broga hill. What?! He woke up at 4:00am and he did not even try to wake me up. I know that he is not my roommate but I told him that I have a run in the morning. Maybe there is a reason behind all the things that happened.
God has a better plan for us. I knew that! Then, Adriana and I, went to the church. We sang 'Alleluia' on top of our lungs. Just joking. Laugh out loud. We sang Christian songs. We went to Starbucks and had my favourite drink, dark mocha. This was the better plan that God has for us.
Before we went back to UKM, we watched movie entitled spy. It is starring by Melissa McCarthy. And others too. She made me laughed out loud and so my friend. Yes, she did! We laughed so hard until I don't even notice that my eyes were teary. She is really a good actress.
At last, that's it. Wrap my day! I missed my run but a good thing is I went to church. I did not go to the church for about 2 weeks. Been busier than ever. God always has a better plan for everyone. Believe in Him and you will got it. Thank you readers!

Last day in Penang, Malaysia.
We woke up very late again today and we went for the late breakfast in the shopping mall. We met Adriana's friend again, his name is Daniel. He went for mass in the church in the morning and met us in the afternoon.
We talked to each other. Right after that, we went to USM and fetched our friend, Jijie. Then, we went to Penang hills, took some light foods and Kek Lok Si Temple. It was a tiring visits though. Too many stairs. But we love it! Laugh out loud.
We also went to Penang street art and hunted the top murals (which has been listed in the brochure). After took for an hour for the murals, then, we went to the chinese restaurant again and have some foods four our precious tummies.
Before we fly back to Kuala Lumpur, we went to Queensbay mall and did some shopping. I bought a gift for my sister's birthday. Then I bought a new book for myself. A book written by Gayle Forman. His book is full with emotion. I like to play with emotion. That is a reality in life. We have thousands of emotion within one day.
Then we said goodbye to each other and took some photos before my friends and I fly back to Kuala Lumpur. I am going to miss both of them, Jijie and Daniel, for the best accompanied in Penang. Thank you to both of you.
We flied back to Kuala Lumpur and reached the airport at 12:00am (midnight). We waited for Francis (our college's friend) to fetch us at the airport about an hour. We went to McDonald and bought foods. Again, we were eating. Foods is always in my mind.

04-06-2015
Hi! I woke up early this morning. Yes, it is early to me. I woke up at 8:00am and I relaxed myself. Then, after I had my shower, at 9:00am, I went to Dectar, UKM with my roommate, because we have an entrepreneurship day today! Today was our last class for CESMED.
We were cheering for the team from FEP, our own faculty and supporting their pitching business. They did it in an awesome way! Seems like they attracted the judges attention. I hope they can win this competition.
After that, I went back to my college and had breakfast. I ate noodles with beef and I like it very much. Then, I went back to my room and sleep. I am wide awake at 3:30pm and prepared myself to go to the faculty. I wanted to meet my lecturer for some purposes.
At 4:45pm, I rushed to my room and took my swimming apparel. I got the chance to stop at the bookstore and bought A4 papers. My friend, Ivan, waited for me at the bus station. Then we went to the swimming pool in UKM.
I swam today! I love swimming. Playing with the waters. I stayed afloat. One thing that I managed to do. I do not know how to swim before and even now. That is why I wanted to swim and learn like every each day at here.
I went back to my dorm and took a shower. I had my dinner at 8:00pm (chicken rice). Then, my mom called me at 9:00pm and we were on the phone for an hour. I miss her very much. She is my everything. She said that she just came back from the village and she is really tired. Wanted to talk with my dad, but he was in his deep sleep. Too bad I was too late.
At 11:15pm, I went out from my room to UKM's library. And I am not sleeping yet (2.14am). That's it for today! Thank you readers.

How to excel in your studies.
Hello everyone! I am going to share some tips how to excel in your studies. This is based on my experiences and I hope it is applicable for all of you who read this.
First of all, listening to music while studying. I am not recommending the rock songs. You can choose the jazz, R&B, slow songs or a religious songs. For me, listening to music while studying can actually boost my mood, think clearly and always make me awake from being sleepy. Sometimes it helps me to build some sentences and give me the spirit to study hard. It also motivated me to study. So, do try this out.
Next, stay hydrated. Make sure you have a bottle next to you. A bottle contains water. This is to make you alive. Do you know what will happen if you dehydrated? You will experience a range of symptoms from dry mouth, headaches, dizziness, and fatigue to lethargy, cool skin and the inability to pee. Dehydrated will make you feel sick without a bottle of water. Not to be a racist, but as you can see, the chinese community or chinese people always have a bottle with them. That is why they are very clever! (No hard feelings, dear my Chinese friends).
Last but not least, always pray to God. Do not forget Him because He is the one who gives us the spirit to keep alive, stay awake and He bless our hard works. He is capable of everything. Because He is the one who created us on earth and to Him we should seek the help and blessings. There are so many tips that I can give to you and above is the basic tips for you! Thank you for reading this and God bless you always. Stay excel in your studies people.
Happy Gawai Day to everyone!
First of all, I would like to wish everyone "Happy Gawai Dayak" and have a blast. I could not celebrating Gawai Dayak because I have an examinations from 12th June until 22nd June. It is sad to say that I am not going back to Kuching and to my village and meet my big family. This is my freshman year in University.
I wanted to share about my village back in Kuching, Sarawak. My village's name is Kampung Stass located at Bau, Sarawak. The people in Kampung Stass, Bau was coming from Jagoi hill. I did not know much about my village's history and I am still learning about my own village.
Gawai Dayak is a festival celebrated by Dayaks in Sarawak and West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The distance between West Kalimantan and Sarawak is not that very far. It is still took more than an hour to reach in West Kalimantan. Dayak people can be divided into three which is Sea Dayak, Land Dayak and Orang Ulu people. The three Dayak people have their own native languages.
I am Land Dayak and I will be talking and share about Bidayuh. The Bidayuh Dayaks, the traditional dances comprises tolak bala which means danger repealing dance performed before the harvesting season to ask for blessing and to protect the community from danger.
Another dance is totokng dance that is performed during the harvest festival to welcome the paddy soul and guests. Next, langi julang ritual dance which is performed at the closing of the harvest festival to thank gods for bestowing good health and rich harvest and the eagle-warrior fight dance to win over a girl as a wife which is usually performed after the harvest season as a form of entertainment for guests of the longhouse.
Yes, it is considered as animism but most of the Dayak people converted into Christians. Some of them chose to converted into another religions, but mostly they are Christians for the meantime. I want to teach some of the Bidayuh words for my readers which is 'Slamat onu gawea' means happy gawai day, 'Okuk nyayang kupuo Stass' means I love Kampung Stass (my village's name) and 'Oni abar muu' means how are you.
There are a lot of tourists went to my village during this festival before. They enjoyed watching the performances by the Dayak people. When it is time to dance, they were so friendly that they joined the dance. Since most of the people in my village converted from animism to having religions, the original tradition of Gawai Dayak is hardly to be applied.
For this year, 2015, the Gawai Dayak in my village is on the 11th June. The Gawai Dayak is still in the original tradition for this year because there are a few of them are pagan. So that is it! Kindly drop your comments or ask me to know more. Thank you for spending your time reading my post.
